                                                        Customer Service Supervisor 

 

 

 Responsible for supervising customer service staff and assist the Customer Service Manager in the daily logistics of Customer Service. Supervise all activities on Consumer/Retail/National and Import Customers. Work closely with Management/ Production/Scheduling and Traffic to coordinate the complete shipment of all customer orders.

 

Job Description

Essential job functions:

 

  • Assist the manager in the daily logistics of customer service.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email.
  • Oversee all activities surrounding orders and customers for Consumer/Retail/National and Imports
  • Handles the input of some specific Sales Rep orders
  • Reports all backorder notices via an email alert and Monthly Summary Report
  • Run pricing validation report and backorder report
  • Reconcile payroll for Customer Service staff on payroll system
  • Report all Quality Complaints for WNA Chelmsford and Monthly Quality Report

 

Position Specifics

Additional duties:

 

  1. Will assume manager’s responsibilities in her/his absence
  2. Help process other incoming orders when required
  3. Apply disciplinary policies with staff when necessary
  4. Administer annual reviews with Customer Service staff

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum Associates degree or 5+ years of Customer Service with 2+ years being Supervisor or Leader role. Have excellent data entry skills, phone expertise are a must and knowledge of Word and Excel a plus.  Demonstrate confidentiality at all times. Multi tasked individual that is assertive, fair minded, understanding and sensible. Not afraid of confrontation, but not confrontational.
