Deduction Coordinator

 

We are seeking a Deduction Coordinator who will be responsible to research and verify customer deductions; including but not limited to Pricing, Marketing, Shortage and Program Rebates.   You will research rebate requests and verify documentation to price quotes on file both manually and using v-lookups; assist managers with check and invoice information; update monthly reports on outstanding deductions for distribution; correspond with managers regarding backup information and expired programs that need to be renewed;

 

Process and file open deductions with utmost accuracy; assist the Finance Department with the filing of approved deductions; perform any duties associated with the Finance Department, commensurate with the ability and experience of the candidate and the requirements of the Department.

 

Job Description

 

The candidate must be energetic, highly skilled, methodical, organized and have an attention to detail. We are seeking a results oriented, team player who has the ability to meet deadlines, have the ability to multi task and to willingly take on additional tasks, from time to time, to assist in maintaining a successful and efficient finance operation.

 

 

 

 

 

Position Specifics

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of credit and deductions experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment; an associate degree in accounting or a related business field would be a plus; excellent communication skills are required, as well as the ability to produce outstanding work in a fast paced environment; strong Excel skills is critical to success in this position. Overtime hours will be required from time to time.
